First of all… Gods Word is Wonderful ANYDAY!!!

A day later it’s even greater! God has been showing up and showing out in my life.

I am grateful 🙏🏽

The below scripture is posted on my mirror:

The things the flesh learns has to be reformed in God. Anger? Why be angry… Gods got me! If he brings me to it, He will bring me thru it. Period!

Doing or saying things to hurt others. I’ve learned that hurt people, hurt people. God has shown me some deep seeded hurts that I experienced and this the background for why I have reacted to certain people with certain emotions. Ask God to show you… and when he does… WoW! All I could do was call on Jesus!

Don’t lie to each other. This is something that is key for everything from a relationship between husband and wive,children and parents, friends, and even your enemy. Truth is the way. Truth is part of the armor of God:

“That is why you need to get God’s full armor. Then on the day of evil, you will be able to stand strong. And when you have finished the whole fight, you will still be standing. So stand strong with the belt of truth tied around your waist, and on your chest wear the protection of right living.”

A key point for me in this scripture is it clearly states you have removed the “old clothes” the old ways… an old life. Everyday is a new day, a new life. Everyday I grow more in my understanding of God…everyday I grow more like him… That’s what I want!

I know that I’m not where I want to be… but I thank God, I’m not where I was.
