Prayer Line… Confession

Good morning! To God be the Glory. Today on the prayerline we discussed “Confession” 1 John 1:5-10; James 5:16. Confession means: agreeing with God concerning any sins he brings to mine in order to restore fellowship with him. In. 1 John 1:5 it talks about light represents what is good, pure, true, holy and reliable. Darkness represents what is sinful and Evil. God is perfectly holy and true and that he alone can guide us out of the darkness of sin. Light is also related to truth in that light exposes whatever exist, whether it is good or bad. In the dark good and evil look alike; in the light, they can be clearly distinguished. If we want to have a relationship with God, we must put aside our sinful ways of living. To claim that we belong to him but then to go out and live for ourselves is hypocrisy Christ will Expose and judge such deceit. We must Confess our sins before God on a daily basis. There are many sins (Ten commandments & in Galatians 5:19-21)that become roadblocks and they will effect our intimacy with God! In James 5:16 after we Confess our sins to Him; He wants us to confess one to another. Revealing your feelings is the beginning to healing. You dont have to tell a group of people, but only to one person. There are only two kinds of people in the world: People who are broken and sinful and know it & People who are broken and sinful and won’t admit it. When we refuse to be real with each other it creates all kinds of fears in our lives and isolates us from each other. So today confess your sins before God, ask for forgiveness don’t walk around broken; unhealed & Unforgiven know that your Heavenly father will forgive you because he loves you! and you do not have to walk around feeling guilty no more! God wired us to need each other. You need a friend who’s going to love you unconditionally and won’t think less of you when you share your guilt with them. Be Bless! Walk in Freedom today
