“Good morning! This morning on the prayerline we discussed “The Lord is my Keeper” psalms 121:5; psalms 23. Meaning of Keeper- a person who manages or looks after something or someone. When I look at the word “Keeper” what comes to mind is a Guardian, Custodian, Overseer, POA, someone who watches over all my affairs(physical, mental, spiritual,and financial) That One person who will never see me harmed in no way; that will protect me when Im in danger; who will comfort me when I mourn; who will provide for me when I’m hungry or in need. They become my all and all! That the way I look at the Lord of my life! He has truly become my “Keeper” through my troubles and hardships, Pain and hurts, even through my corrections I got to know him as a Keeper! Having a relationship with him drawn me to Trust and Love him. One of the sister on the line talked about how she desired to completely do Gods Will; she wanted to leave her currect situation and to also stop having sex and wanted to experience being celibate; and it is a struggle; but God spoke to her heart and said that “You are in the world but you not of the world” he told her I want to set you apart from the world to show them I AM a Keeper!! Jesus! God wants to pull you from the worlds influences and set You apart (consecrate you) and place you on a hill as Beacon light for his use! See 1Peter 2:9 says “But you who are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the Praises of him who called you out of Darkness into his wonderful light”. God wants to bring you from the things that keep you separated from him, that keep your light from shining, that keep you from being seen as a servant of the Most high God! Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour your heart before him: God is a refuge for us he is your Rock, He is your strength, a ever present help in the time of trouble! He is and will be your KEEPER; So Rest and know that I AM is God!!”
