“Good morning! This morning on the prayer line we talk about “The Best is yet to come” 1Corinthians 2:9-10; Galatians 6:9. Paul is telling us, our forefathers could not begin to comprehend all the great Provisions God prepared. It never entered into their imaginations. But there is no reason for us to be blind about these things, to go about not knowing what is ours. Our eyes must see our ears must hear, it must enter into our Hearts and Minds. Because we are the people for whom God has prepared it all and the Holy Spirit has revealed it to us. One of the things that we realize this morning is that we must have the Holy Spirit within us to be able to hear him when he speak and to be able to discern what he wants to show us, no matter what we’re going through, no matter what we’ve been through, no matter what our situation is our God will make provision, has made provision and still will make provision. The Bible says we are to seek him for the revelation of his great provision, but I believe most Christians have not honestly face the power of these promises. We have read them many times but they are simply dead letters to us. We need to cry out, “Lord reveal to me what you have prepared, so I can claim them For Your Glory”. Do not be easily discouraged or weary in well-doing. Spend time with your father and let his promises penetrate your heart, filling you with Faith and Hope! There was a story I told about a woman who had cancer and she talked to her pastor; to some the story up; she told her pastor when she dies that she wants to hold a fork in her right hand, the fork reminded her when church had food at functions; after the main course the person would say “save your fork”; with expectation she knew that something better was coming; something with substance! Like a piece of cake! The Pastor smiled and to himself he said “The women had a better grasp of heaven then he did! Wow! Do you have your Fork ready! Because of Jesus, we know the BEST is yet to come!”
