Ok, before you get upset…. know that F.A.T. is an acronym for Faith, Available, Teaching…

I’ll be honest, at first I was stuck on hearing the word “fat” – it has become a word that people become offended by…but then my Pastor broke down the acronym using the Word… and confusion became clarity.

Pastor …

“Good morning! This morning on the prayer line we talked about “God uses F.A.T. people” Ezekiel 22:30; 1 Corinthians 1:26-29;Ephesians 1:1; Colossians 1:2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Whenever God has a job to do and it got to be filled, he always starts by choosing and calling an individual. While men use methods, God’s methods are men and women. To start a nation to use as a special witness on Earth, God chose and called Abraham to be the father of ancient Israel. When God wants to use people like he did in the Bible for example Joseph, Samuel, Esther, David, Mary, Peter, Paul, and scores of other lesser-known individuals. God is urgently looking for people who are willing to stand in the Gap to help save lost souls from a lost and hopeless eternity and to do his work here on Earth. The kind of people he’s looking for are Faithful, Available and Teachable people! God is looking for faithful people that are reliable, steadfast and unwavering, He’s looking for people that are Available; able to be used or obtained at someone’s disposal. He wants someone that is Teachable able to learn by being taught. Can you examine yourself and see if you are one of those people? if you are then God can use you for this world today! so I urge you to pray and tell God that you are Available and renew that prayer and commitment every day. And be “Andrew” by quietly helping to bring others to Jesus. I AM F.A.T. Because I Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness!”
